LHS Celebrating Accomplishments of 07-08 School Year

Dear LHS Parents:
As we wind down the school year I would like to thank you for allowing us the opportunity to share in your child’s upbringing. When we first welcome the students to our campus, many come with bleary, glazed over eyes, unfocused – not sure what to expect – still others with confused faces full of unexpressed questions. As the days progress we see them transform from gangly, uncoordinated, hesitant teenagers to cooperative, self-assured young adults. We have so much to celebrate for the 2007 – 2008 school year, both academically and athletically. But the foundation of all the successes has been the “can do” attitude the students have adopted: Tell us what you want us to do and we will do it – and then some! This is their mantra.
I am proud of the students’ drive and determination – of their absolute belief that there is nothing they can’t do – given the opportunity. They have become believers of the adage that dreams do come true if you put your heart and soul into all that you do. PRIDE drives the students and staff to the next level.
Our PURPOSE is to be the best – always; to RESPECT the foundation of our educational principles; to approach all things with the utmost INTEGRITY; to possess a DESIRE that drives our work ethic; and to perform with athletic and academic EXCELLENCE – We are Lytle High School!
We thank you for your continued support and look forward to many more celebrations. The best is yet to come!
