by James M Campolo

March 27, 2008

High School and Junior High teachers were given their accounts on March 26, 2008. Student accounts are active and this informative letter was sent home with High School and Junior High Students on March27, 2008.

Elementary and Primary teachers will received their accounts on March 27, 2008 and this letter will be sent home with Elementary and Primary students on March 28, 2008.

Dear Students and Parents:

Lytle ISD will be using School Web Lockers for student and teacher storage.  Students and teachers will have an efficient way to perform and share everyday projects, such as homework and class assignments.

Go to your school’s web locker site http://lytle.schoolweblockers.com
Teachers will assist students with their user name and password to log into their lockers.

A link is posted on the front page of the lytle-isd. net web page for easy access.

The Home page is the first place you see. You will see all the classes you are enrolled in as well as your home directory. Your home directory is the location for storing homework data to be accessed from any location (with an internet connection). (The home directory is private and cannot be viewed by others). Think of it as a virtual floppy disk. You can copy files into this directory, and then access them later, from another computer. Students can store up to 100Mb of files. No programs, games or executables. HTML documents can be stored but will not run.

Teachers and administrators will be able to help students with forgotten passwords, etc.

We realize that there is the chance for errors-if you encounter any please contact us immediately.
