Lytle Independent School District offers a wide variety of programs to service our students. Listed below are some of the programs:

•Career and Technology Education Programs: This program is available for students in grades 8th-12th. Lytle ISD offers courses in Agricultural Science and Technology Education, Business Education, Family and Consumer Sciences and Trade and Industrial Trade.

•ESL Program: This program serves all Limited English Proficient (LEP) students in our district. The ESL program enables the LEP students to become competent in the comprehension, speaking, reading and composition of the English language.

•GT Program: The purpose of the GT program is to identify gift¬ed and talented students in grades Kindergarten through twelve and to provide a differentiated educational program suitable to their unique academic needs.

•Head Start Program: This Early Childhood Education program is focused on increasing the school readiness of young children in low-income families.

•Improving the Basic Program (Title I, Part A): Is a program offered at the Primary and Elementary campuses. The purpose of this program is to ensure that all children, particularly low-achieving children in the high-poverty schools, have a fair, equal, and significant opportunity to obtain a high quality education and reach proficiency on challenging State requirements.

•Migrant Program: The purpose of the Migrant Program is to sup¬port high-quality and comprehensive educational programs for migratory children to help reduce the educational disruptions and other problems that result from repeated moves; ensure that migratory children who move among the States are not penalized in any manner by disparities among the States in curriculum, graduation requirements, and State academic content and student academic achievement standards.

•PEP Program: The purpose of this program is to reduce the number of students who drop out of school due to pregnancy and or parenthood and to recover young parents who are under the age of 21 years of age to the educational system. The program is designed to help these students achieve academically and work towards graduation; to provide occupation¬al and/or job training; to provide child development and parenting skills; and to become productive citizens.

Lytle ISD is committed to serve students from all walks of life. Together, the leadership team and our highly qualified staff will do everything we can to strive for the success of each student.
