Kindergarten Round-Up Dates

Kindergarten pre-registration set for Lytle Primary.
Parents of children who will be 5 years old on or before September
1 will have the opportunity to begin the kindergarten
pre-registration process for the 2008-09 school year.
It's hard to believe, but the students who will be registering this
year will ultimately become the Class of 2021. That may seem like a
long time in the future, but it does go by quickly and it all
starts with kindergarten pre-registration.
The kindergarten pre-registration dates are as follows:
Monday, April 7th : 8:00-6:00 (12:00-1:00 Lunch)
Tuesday, April 8th:8:00-3:00 (12:00-1:00 Lunch)
Paperwork needed for pre-registration includes:
Proof of identity- I.D./ Driver’s License
An original birth certificate is required for identity. Baptismal
or hospital certificates are not acceptable forms of identity.
Proof of residency- They may include an original deed; affidavit
of title/property; lease agreement; a voter registration card; a
current credit card or utility bill. (Post office boxes cannot be
used for proof of residence)

Immunization Record (Shot Record)
Immunization Requirements
Texas law requires that all children entering public or private
schools and institutions of higher learning be immunized.
Validation of immunization records by a physician or public health
clinic will be required for entering school. Any new enrollees who
have not completed all immunizations at the time of enrollment must
complete them as soon as medically feasible. Any document signed by
a physician or the public health clinic listing each immunization
and the month, day, and year in which it was given will be
accepted.
Kindergarten, 1st
4 Diphtheria/Pertussis/Tetanus (1 after age 4)
3 Polio’s* (1 after age 4)
2 Measles/Mumps/Rubella*** (2 after 1st Birthday)
3 Hepatitis B****
1 Varicella ***** (shot or history of Chicken Pox)
