FFA Members Participate in San Antonio Livestock Show

This past week many members of the Lytle FFA participated in the San Antonio Livestock show.
Joey Van Hecke placed his Brahman steer 5th.
Trey Geiger placed his A.O. B steer 2nd and sold him for
$4500.00.
Marvin Naegelin placed his Brahman steer Reserve Champion, sold him
for $7000.00 and received an $8,000.00 scholarship on top of
that.
Trey and Joey also competed in the livestock judging contest where there team finished 2nd. Trey ended up being 1st place out of 1573 other contestants. He received a belt buckle and a $10,000.00 scholarship.
