Lytle FFA Wins Big Awards at Atascosa County Livestock Show

At the Atascosa County Livestock Show, the Lytle FFA placed over 20 projects and came home with some big awards like Grand Champion Steer and Reserve Champion Ag. Mechanics Project. They won over $40, 000 in prize money and awards.
The Steer Show Team consisted of:
Marvin Naegelin, who won 3rd place heavy weight Brahman
Joey Van Hecke, 1st place lightweight Brahman, 1st place heavyweight Brahman, and 1st place lightweight ABC
Kevin Naegelin, 2nd place lightweight Brahman, 1st place heavyweight Charolais, Champion Charolais, and reserve showmanship
Trey Geiger, 4th place heavy weight Brahman 1st place heavyweight Exotic, and Grand Champion of the whole show for the second year in a row.
Emily Downs won Grand Champion with her rabbits as well
Sadie Guerra won 5th place with her lamb

Hayden Decker placed 13th in Heavy weight Hamp, Shannon Massey place medium weight Duroc, Weston Carroll 11th medium weight cross, and Joey Van Hecke 9th place heavy weight Hamp

1st place home decor went to Steve Piazza and Mario Maldonado
1st place outdoor furniture Garret McOsker
1st place BBQ pit Kevin Naegelin and Trey Geiger
2nd place gate Kevin Naegelin and Daniel Patlan
