Primary Campus Creating New Traditions

Dear Pirate Families and Community,
Holiday’s are quickly approaching and the cold weather is coming
whether we’re ready or not. December is always a fun and colorful
time for crafts and programs. This year with our new music teacher
on board we are beginning some new traditions at the primary. Our
first grade choir performed at SAS shoes December 1st and did such
a good job that they were invited back to perform for the
Holiday’s. On December 18th our Choir performed at SAS shoes, HEB
Plus on Zarzamora and at The City Employee Credit Union
downtown.
All the boys and girls participating in the Christmas programs had
a great time. Our Pre-k and Kindergarten students sang a collection
of Christmas songs. Our 1st grade program consisted of a Christmas
play along with Christmas songs.
Thank you to Chaparral Ford for inviting all of our Head Start 3’s
and 4 year olds to their business to see Santa and receive gifts.
They have been gracious enough to have done this with us for
several years.
Our students were very excited when Santa stopped by for a visit.
Boys and girls had the opportunity to take a picture with
Santa.
We, at Lytle Primary wish you and yours a most blessed Christmas
and a prosperous New Year. As you and your family form your own
traditions of the season remember you are creating bonds and
memories that you’ll be sharing for years to come. I know the fun
things my family did so long ago are spoken of each time we all get
together to reminisce. Let’s continue to make wonderful memories
both in our homes and in our school. Together we make a
difference!
See you at school...
